The Closer Season Four - Episode 2

The Closer Season Four – Episodes 2

This episode is about an ex con who was put away by Flynn for the murder of a young lady. They originally suspect the parents of the victim, especially the mother who had been harassing the ex con since his release. Turns out it was two women who worked at the half way house that the ex con was staying in.

While I did feel for the parents in this episode, the whole story line did very little for me. This one won’t go down as a favorite.

I love the way this episode starts out…. Mornin’ lovin… I LOVE mornin’ lovin’.

Post-recovery from their first little tryst, Brenda is just so cute jumping on the bed…. Suggesting that they christen the guest bedroom next… OMG too funny.

Poor Fritz. I laughed my ass off when his back seized. This is why people in their fourties should not try to pretend that they are still in their twenties….

Trust me, I know this from experience.

Brenda is just too funny as she shows up to work with a little spring in her step. Poor Taylor had no idea what to do with that.

So the victim turns out to be from an old case that Flynn worked on. It is also quite obvious that Flynn took this case very personally.
Taylor:In 1999, Roy Wilkinson was convicted of manslaughter after killing his girlfriend, Carley Mayhan.
Flynn:That’s amazing, Commander, two pieces of bullshit in one sentence. First, Carley wasn’t his girlfriend, he picked her up in a bar. And Second, Manslaughter my ASS!

Brenda is just too cute. She clearly is still feeling the after-buzz of her morning tryst with her honey… and hopin’ for more.
Brenda:giggles…. I’d love to be done with this by noon. You have NO IDEA how much I’d like to be done with this by noon.

I got a good chuckle out of Brenda bent over and shakin’ her tooshie by the vending machine as Will walks up… Priceless.

====

Poor Gabriel. My heart went out to him when Will so very conveniently put him snuggly between a rock and a hard spot.
Will, addressing Brenda regarding something he just told her to do:Did you really get the impression there that I was offering you advice?
He then turns to Gabriel. “Sargent, were you under that impression?

OMG, he looked like a deer in the headlights.

So, Brenda dragging Fritz around the house on a blanket is just too funny. Poor guy, he should really learn to keep his elbows in. *Giggles*

Brenda trying to give Fritz Vicodin is such a clear example of Brenda’s complete lack of understanding when it comes to Fritz’s addiction. It’s like she has just swept it under the rug… Ignore it, and hope it goes away.
Fritz:Giving Vicodin to an alcoholic is not helping
Brenda:Right, I’m sorry, no pills… I don’t know why I keep forgettin’ that.
Fritz:Because you constantly dismiss addiction as a problem and we never talk about it.

So the cat fight between the two old broads was hilarious. The guys sitting in the observation room just watching was just too funny too. OMG

I loved the way this episode ended. While Brenda does tend to burry her head in the sand sometimes when it comes to stuff she doesn’t want to deal with it, I love how she goes for the wine, sees her love lying there, and puts the booze away. I loved that she came out to sleep on the floor next to him… very sweet.
